The Italian League officially announced the cancellation of the Milan vs. Como match in the Australian city of Perth, which was scheduled as part of the teams' preparations for the new season.

The association said in an official statement: "The additional burdensome conditions imposed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to approve the match cannot be met without financial risks to the government of Western Australia and the Italian Football League (Serie A)."

This decision comes after assessing the logistical and financial risks associated with organizing the match outside Italy, which prompted both parties to seek suitable alternatives for holding the preparatory meetings.

It is expected that an alternative venue for the match will be announced in the coming days to ensure the teams are ready before the start of the season.
